The unit converts the total wireless modulation speed of 450Mbps + 1733Mbps to a cable thanks to a pair of Ethernet ports (1x 10/100/1000Mbps, 1×1/10Gbps IMC), both of which support POE input according to the new 802.3bt standard. Power supply is also possible with the included passive POE adapter 50V/1.2A. UAP-XG offers up to 28 non-overlapping channels, 3 channels at 2.4GHz and 25 channels at 5GHz (including DFS channels).
Thanks to 3 radio parts (1x 2.4GHz, 2x 5GHz), each unit can serve up to 1500 users, but the recommended number is half of the theoretical maximum, i.e. 250 clients for each radio part. You can use the maximum performance with client devices supporting MU-MIMO technology, thanks to which the AP is able to communicate with multiple clients at the same time:
