The LTU-LR is a PtMP client unit for the 5GHz band with 26dBi antenna gain and LTU proprietary wireless technology that is not built on the limited 802.11 standard, achieving real TCP/IP speeds of 600Mb/s+ (up to 1Gb/s+ with future fw), modulation up to 4096 QAM (in future fw) and a higher spectral efficiency of 21.2bps/Hz, which is double compared to the 802.11AC standard! LTU is a completely new platform based on proprietary technology that does not use the 802.11 protocol. It is not compatible with devices from the airMAX M5 or airMAX 5AC series.
