product description LiteBeam 5AC-LR is a 2×2 MIMO AC series client station for the 5GHz band.
Compared to the standard unit, it has a higher antenna gain of 26dBi, so it is suitable for longer distances.
It reaches a transfer speed of up to 867 Mb/s.
The unit is only compatible with other airMAX AC products and is designed for outdoor use with the best price/performance ratio in the 5GHz band. Inside the LiteBeam there is a powerful MIPS processor Atheros 74KC, which is supported by 64MB of operating memory.
The network port supports 10/100/1000 Ethernet and the unit can be powered via the passive Gigabit PoE 24V adapter included in the package (active PoE according to 802.3af is not supported). The LiteBeam 5AC-LR combines proprietary hardware and software technologies into an affordable device.
Advantages include InnerFeed technology, airMAX TDMA protocol, improved holder and built-in spirit level allowing very fast and correct deployment, as well as very compact dimensions to save costs during transportation.
Technicians will certainly appreciate the newly included 2.4GHz WiFi interface, which is used for administration via a mobile device.
The UMOBILE app is available for both Android and iOS. The new operating system airOS 8 is also new for all Gen2 products with the airMAX ac protocol.
