The RT2600ac is a powerful wireless router for homes and small offices that want to work and play smarter. It features comprehensive VPN solutions, enhanced security and flexible media and file sharing features.
With support for MU-MIMO technology and the latest 802.11ac wave 2 standard, the RT2600ac allows speeds of 800 Mbps at 2.4 GHz and 1733 Mbps at 5 GHz. With two WANs, a combined bandwidth of 2 Gb/s can be achieved and the network can be easily optimized with minimal power loss even when controlling Layer 7 traffic.
The RT2600ac manages the Synology Router Manager (SRM), making everything simple and yet highly customizable. Easy network monitoring and editing, using the DS router application even on mobile devices.
With a VPN connection, you can protect your network internal services and repsus from direct access and still work from home or remotely. Easily deploy a wide range of VPN solutions and manage access rights and bandwidth settings.
The SRM Smart WAN feature on the RT2600ac supports 2 Gb/s2 combined WAN bandwidth when establishing multiple connections. If one of these connections is lost due to an ISP or cable problem, the transmission can be forwarded to the other interface. In addition to failover, load balancing can be used to spread traffic across both interfaces. The policy route allows traffic to be routed based on the destination or psu address.
