This “virtual cable” provides a maximum connection speed of up to 3 Gb/s (combined transmission speeds of 1,733 + 866 + 400 Mb/s) regardless of the number of connected devices and achieves peak Wi-Fi signal coverage of up to 465 m2. The result is a highly stable and high-quality connection without the need to deal with dead zones or a weaker signal typically caused by walls, doors or more floors. Three separate wireless networks The Orbi Pro Wi-Fi system also offers three predefined wireless networks with separate access for management, employees and customers or guests. It allows companies to gain complete control over the security of their data. Management: Within the network, its administrator or company management gains access to important corporate infrastructure (private servers, VoIP systems or computers with sensitive data), ports located on the Orbi Pro device and the Internet. Only the administrator knows the password. Employees: The network is mainly used to connect devices that employees carry to work. Within the network, employees only have access to the Internet. The password is different from the previous network. Customers and guests: The network offers an Internet connection for a pre-determined limited time and after acceptance of the user conditions set by the company. Easy to install and manage The Orbi Pro kit contains two types of devices – router and satellite – which are already paired at the factory to make their setup as easy as possible. Therefore, the user only needs to connect the Orbi Pro router to its current Internet modem or gateway, place the satellite anywhere in the central space and can almost immediately enjoy a secure and high-performance Wi-Fi connection. The individual mobile devices then connect to the Orbi Pro system in a short time with a few clicks on their display. The sub-device and the network itself can be easily configured and managed via the free Orbi mobile application.
