MikroTik RouterBOARD QRT-5 OVERVIEW
MikroTik platform system solution for wireless Internet service providers. RouterBoard with integrated 802.11a/n module in a waterproof UV-resistant box with an integrated 23dB dual-polarization panel antenna and a gigabit RJ45 port. The units are supplied with a pre-installed and activated RouterOS V5 L4 operating system, the delivery includes mounting accessories for installation on a mast and power supply, POE. The narrow beam angle (10.5 ?) of the integrated antenna predetermines the deployment of units in Point-to-Point applications or as an extra powerful client CPE element. Part of delivery:

The manufacturer MIKROTIK does not cover the warranty for equipment damaged by overvoltage.
The device must be adequately protected against induced electrostatic overvoltage or overvoltage peaks on the power line by correct grounding so that the manufacturer 16kV grounding element is effective.
For outdoor installations, shielded Cat5E cabling (FTP/SFTP) must be used for signal routing, and Ethernet surge protection (EPO) is also recommended.
If you do not respect it, you risk irreversible damage to the chip on the Ethernet part (the device stops communicating over Ethernet), or a significant reduction in the sensitivity or transmission power of the board by damaging the integrated miniPCI module.
