Unique outdoor client unit suitable for client stations and PTP wireless connections. The Omega unit consists of WispStation5 from Ubiquiti Networks and a MaxLink 23dBi 5GHz panel antenna. The platform is based on the Atheros chip AR5312 operating system AirOS. Power supply of the unit is possible only via Ethernet POE. Both the Ethernet port and the antenna port are protected by surge protectors. The real short-distance TCP/IP throughput between two MaxStation Omega units is 28 Mbps. Of course, there is 100% compatibility with the Mikrotik RouterOS system with throughput of 15 Mbps TCP and 28 Mbps on UDP compared to RB433. AirOS configuration takes place via a secure web interface (possibly also in Czech) the same as for NanoStation units. The unit holder is made of galvanized steel sheet with a thickness of 2 mm for maximum strength, at the same time allows the antenna to rotate in the range of 45 ? in the vertical plane. Web administration is very simple and clear. It is possible to set eg:
? AP, client or WDS mode
? traffic shaping
? QoS
