D-Link DAP-2610 DualBand AC1300 Wave2 GbE PoE AP D-Link DAP-2610 is a corporate dual-band Wi-Fi AC1300 MU-MIMO access point designed primarily for offices, small and medium businesses, restaurants, schools, guesthouses, hotels, shops, etc. It offers an advanced set of features for reliable, secure and powerful Wi-Fi -Fi network. DAP-2610 supports Multiple SSID and VLAN to create separate Wi-Fi networks for different groups of users (employees, VoIP phones, network for visitors, etc.), with the possibility of user authentication locally (Radius, ticketing) or via external servers Radius, LDAP, POP3. The DAP-2610 access point can be managed as a separate access point, in a group of up to 32 APs or centrally using a SW controller.
Management separately
A web interface, Telnet and SNMP protocol are available for access point management, including secure versions of HTTPS, SSH and SNMPv3.
Group management
The AP Array function, which is part of the FW, allows you to manage up to 32 access points in a group, ie from the selected access point, which is defined as the master unit. A backup master unit can also be selected to ensure redundancy. Both of course remain fully functional, ie. they continue to broadcast as standard APs. The configuration of the main unit or only its part (the user can choose) is automatically applied to other APs in the group.
Message from SW controller
Up to 1000 access points can be managed using the free Central WiFiManager CWM-100 controller. The software is installed on a computer, on a hardware or virtual server or in the cloud (eg Amazon AWS). Access is via the built-in web interface, locally or remotely from any computer, tablet or smartphone. For central management of company branches or multiple networks (eg reseller manages multiple customers from one controller), access points can be divided into groups and then assigned to different administrators, with multi-level rights. Access points can also be “hidden” behind a firewall and address translator (NAT), communication is provided by a proprietary VPN tunnel between the AP and SW. Central WiFiManager offers an intuitive graphical interface and advanced feature set, including network and client configuration and monitoring, network access control including user authentication, hot-spot and captive portal functions, QoS and bandwidth management, L2 roaming, bulk change planning configuration or FW upgrade. Warranty information:
