Handheld/Stand Cardioid Condenser Microphone A price/performance leader, the MB4k cardioid condenser microphone is the Midnight Blues Series’ introductory studio-quality microphone.

An ‘introductory studio-quality microphone’, this is a cardioid, condenser design for ‘studio vocal and instrument applications’ with ‘extended response for smooth, natural sonic characteristics’. It has a on/off switch, all-metal construction and a soft-touch finish. It operates using a single 1.5V AA cell, 1200 hours alkaline, or 11-52V DC phantom power. Output: Balanced, 3-pin male XLR connector.Supplied without cable. Impedance: 200/250 ohms, phantom/battery powering. Maximum input: 137dB/125dB SPL, phantom/battery powering. Response: 80Hz-20kHz, sensitivity -46dB (5mV)/-48 dB (3.9mV) re 1V at 1 Pa, phantom/battery powering. Dimensions: 205.7mm long, 41.7mm head diameter. Weight: 182g.
